Accounting

 Students completing the Accounting program at Southern State Community College will  

• Record, classify, and summarize business transactions.
• Prepare and interpret financial statements.
• Organize a detailed set of data.  Summarize and report the results of the detailed analysis so that it is understandable to the general population.
• Solve problems in a logical fashion.
• Communicate both orally and written for all levels of audiences. 
• Be able to work as a contributing member of a team.
