 Students completing the Agriculture Production program at Southern State Community College will  

• Describe the bio-chemical events associated with specific agricultural processes.
• Interpret the contents of a pesticide label.
• Calculate land area.
• Determine pesticide use rate
• Demonstrate understanding of financial issues associated with agriculture management.
• Demonstrate ability to use appropriate research for specific agricultural issues.
• Demonstrate understanding of issues involved in pesticide usage.
• Demonstrate understanding of cultural influences on local agricultural enterprise.
