Computer Aided Design Major (CAD)

 Students completing the Computer Aided Design program at Southern State Community College will  

• Produce a finished product per quality specifications using knowledge of engineering materials, metrology, and manufacturing processes.
• Prepare drawings to completely describe a part for a manufacturer per American National Standards Institute (ANSI) specifications.
• Produce mechanical drawings using a CAD system.
