Student Learning Outcomes
Core
level learning outcomes encompass the learning outcomes that are
expected of all graduates of Southern State Community College.
Some colleges may refer to these outcomes as general
education outcomes.
Communicate:
1.
Read a document and demonstrate an
understanding of its written, quantitative and graphical content.
2.
Employ active
listening techniques, including summarizing, paraphrasing,
questioning and nonverbal response.
3.
Write a clear,
well-organized paper using documentation and quantitative
tools when appropriate.

well-organized verbal presentation.
5.
Complete a
collaborative task effectively working with at least two other individuals.
