Law Enforcement

 Students completing the Law Enforcement program at Southern State Community College will  

• Demonstrate the ability to conduct an investigation.
• Prepare cases for trial and professionally testify in a court of law.
• Understand and safely handle a designated firearm.
• Demonstrate recommended self-defense techniques.
• Demonstrate the ability to communicate with diverse constituencies.
• Demonstrate a broad working knowledge of criminal and civil law.
• Demonstrate the ability to provide security and service to the public.
