Bio: I am originally from Indiana and moved to Ohio to attend Youngstown State University.  I began teaching at Southern State while pursuing a doctorate at the University of Cincinnati and have continued as a member of the faculty teaching music and fine arts courses.

I play the double bass and primarily perform classical music and jazz.  However, I've played in a wide range of ensembles from jazz groups, to symphony orchestras and period ensembles, to rock bands. 

I live in Hillsboro with my wife, Caroline.
