Campus Crime and Safety

Southern State Community College is committed to maintaining a safe campus environment for all students and employees of the college.  All students attending Southern State are expected to follow the policies and procedures of the College as outlined in the Student Code of Conduct.  While all campus locations are relatively safe, crime can occur on campus.  Every individual has a responsibility to participate in crime prevention efforts.

  • Lock your vehicles

  • Secure your personal property

  • Walk in groups at night

  • Avoid isolated areas

  • Notify the campus office or maintenance staff if you need an escort to your vehicle
