OhioLINK Circulation Policies

• LOAN LENGTH:  Items shall be checked out for 21 days.  One renewal of 21
  days will be allowed.
• RENEWALS: Items may be renewed up to 4 times, but only if no other patrons
  have requested to use the item. If the item has another request pending,
  even the first renewal is not guaranteed.
• RECALLS: Materials will be recalled only for Reserve Room use; they may be
  recalled from any patron type.
• HOLDS: Anyone with OhioLINK borrowing priveleges may place a hold on any
  material that is circulated through OhioLINK.
• COURTESY CARDS: Courtesy borrowers will be limited to five outstanding
  OhioLINK loans at any given time.
• RESPONSE TIME: If a lending institution does not respond to an OhioLINK request within 4 days, the request will automatically bump to the next library with an available copy. The patron will be notified of this. If there is no other copy available, the request remains active on the last available copy.
