Concluding the tournament on
Saturday was a showdown between the Lady Patriots and Circleville
Bible College. SSCC came out strong and confident taking an early,
comfortable lead. The Lady Crusaders had no hope of catching the
Lady Patriots due to the fast paced tempo of the game. It was more
than Circleville could handle and the Lady Patriots walked away,
undefeated, with their third win of the weekend, 110-41. "We had an
outstanding tournament," commented SSCC head women’s basketball
coach Glenn Burns. "It was exciting to see the girls come together
as a team." Ashley Wesley, from Western Brown, and Ashley Day,
from Eastern Brown, made all-tournament team in the CBC Classic.
