Workplace Training Now Available at SSCC

The division of Corporate and Community Services at Southern State Community College has recently received certification as an Official Registered Provider of Command Spanish, Inc.  This program consists of language and cross-cultural training for individuals in the workplace.  Command Spanish, Inc. is the nation’s leading provider of the occupational Spanish language and cross-cultural training of materials. 

As an Official Registered Provider, Southern State’s Corporate and Community Services division can offer on-site, job specific Spanish language and cross-cultural training in such diverse areas that include nursing, law enforcement, dentistry, public safety, construction, hospitality, banking, office management, warehousing, manufacturing, and retail sales.  On-campus, open enrollment courses will also be offered based on community interest. 

All individuals interested should watch their local newspapers for dates and times of open enrollment classes.  All of the programs are non-grammar based.  No previous Spanish experience is necessary to enroll in these courses, which are low-stress, direct, and in session between 8-24 hours.
