Would you like to sing for SSCC?

Southern State Community College is pleased to announce that the Southern State Singers, a group comprised of both college and community members, will begin rehearsals for the fall quarter on Mon., Sept. 22, 2008. Each practice will take place in room 107 on the central campus in Hillsboro, beginning at 6 p.m. and concluding at 7:50 p.m.

Students, as well as community members, are invited to attend. For those unsure about joining, feel free to visit on Sept. 22 and see what the group is all about.  

Directed by John Glaze and accompanied by Cheryl Porter, the group will sing a wide variety of music.  Unless taken for college credit, there is no charge to join the group. If you like to sing, chances are you will enjoy being part of the Southern State Singers.
