There are some things students just need to know. Listed below are a number of disclosures, reports, and other random information that you should have at your fingertips. If you are curious about something that is not on this list, let us know.

Academic Programs: Complete listing of the academic programs offered, description of facilities, and listing of faculty may be found in the college catalog or check out our online listing of programs.

Accreditation: The names, addresses, and phone numbers of associations, agencies or governmental bodies that accredit, approve, or license the institution are found in the college catalog. You may also view this information online under Accreditation or may contact any agency direct.

Annual Security Report: Annual security report information as defined in 34 CFR Sec.668.46 is distributed annually by October 1. This information is available by contacting the Student Records Office or by viewing the policy online under Campus Crime and Safety.

Athletic Program Participation Rates and Financial Support Data: This information may be requested by contacting the Director of Athletics at 937.393.3431, extension 2695.

Cost of Attendance: Tuition and fees for full-time and part-time students is found in the college catalog, quarterly schedule, and under Tuition and Fees. Annual estimated costs (based on full-time) for books and supplies is $2067, estimated transportation costs is $2100, estimated living allowances for independent students is $2700, estimated living allowances for dependent students is $1700, and miscellaneous costs is $350.

Disability Services: Reasonable accommodations for individuals with disabilities will be made. Questions may be directed to Section 504 Coordinator/Title IX Coordinator Ms. Molly Jordan, (937) 393-3431, extension 2604.

Financial Assistance: Financial Aid is available in the form of scholarships, grants, loans, and part-time employment. Application forms are available at each campus office, the Financial Aid Office, or from high school counselors. Information is also available on the College website under Financial Aid.

Graduation Rates: Graduation rate information as defined in 34 CFR Sec. 668.45 is prepared annually by July 1. This information may be requested from the Student Records Office or viewed online under Graduation Rate Disclosure.

Refund Policy: The Refund Policy indicates refund dates and percentage of refund. The policy may be found in the quarterly schedule, the college catalog and the website under Refund Policy.

Withdrawal Procedures: The complete procedure to officially withdraw is found in the college catalog and on the College website under Withdrawal Procedures. The policy is also listed in the schedule.

Return of Title IV Monies: The policy for returning Title IV grant or loan monies may be found in the college catalog or view on our website under Financial Aid. Contact the Financial Aid Office (ext. 2610) for more information.

Rights under Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA): Information concerning the review and/or disclosure of students educational records is found in the college catalog. Students may contact the Student Records Office for more information or view the policy on our website under Family Educational Rights and Privacy Act. Upon request, a paper copy will be provided. Net Price Calculator: This tool allows prospective students to calculate an estimated net price at Southern State using the following basic formula: price of attendance - (minus) grant aid. Based on the information entered by the student, an average net price of attendance is generated based on what similar students paid in the previous year.
