  • Veterans Day Concert SSCC band to perform Nov. 10 Veterans Day concert
  • The Southern State Community Band will honor our nation's veterans with a Veterans Day concert 3 p.m. Sunday, Nov. 10, in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on Southern State Community College's Central Campus.
  • Garden SSCC hosts Paranormal Investigators for Oct. 29 event
  • An Ohio group known as Paranormal Scientific Investigators (PSI) will present a free special event 6:30 p.m. Tuesday, Oct. 29 in the Learning Resources Center on Southern State Community College’s Fayette Campus.

  • In recognition of excellence and an ongoing commitment to children, the Patri-Tots Learning Center on Central Campus (Hillsboro) of Southern State Community College has received a One-Star Step Up To Quality (SUTQ) award from the Ohio Department of Job and Family Services.

  • Appalachian Skills Camp Student SSCC plans Appalachian Skills Camp from June 17–21
  • There are lots of summer camps, but only one like the Appalachian Skills Camp. Designed for students entering grades 4 and up, the 2013 Appalachian Skills Camp will be held from 9 a.m. to 12 noon, June 17–21, at Southern State Community College’s South Campus.
  • Over the Tavern Auditions "Over the Tavern" auditions May 24 at Southern State
  • Auditions for SSCC Theatre’s upcoming production of Tom Dudzick’s "Over the Tavern" will be held 6:30 p.m. Friday, May 24, in the Edward K. Daniels Auditorium on Southern State Community College’s Central Campus.
