Program Design: The Practical Nursing program is a four-quarter certificate program combining lecture classes, lab practice, and clinical experience designed to prepare the graduate to be eligible to complete the licensure examination (NCLEX-PN) to become a Licensed Practical Nurse. Continuation in the Nursing Program requires a grade of B in all NURS courses and a C or above in all other required courses, including prerequisites.

Other recommended courses include: BIOL 2210, CHEM 1124, and MAST 1115.
IMPORTANT: BIOL 205, 206 & 207 will be equivalent to BIOL 2205 & 2206 in the semester system. All content must be completed, either under the quarter system or the semester system.
