Here’s how to get started! Follow these simple
steps to begin your college career:
- Step One: Apply for Admission – no deadlines, but DO apply as
early as you can!
- Step Two: Send us your high school transcript – this is usually
free. Simply contact your high school and ask them to send your
transcript to Southern State Admissions as soon as possible.
- Step Three: Take a College Placement Assessment - this will help
us to determine which English and math classes will help you
succeed in your pursuit of a degree. The results can be used as a
guide to determine which classes will be most beneficial.

Note: Admission to the College does not assure admission to a specific course of study. Students who intend to apply for admission to the nursing programs must meet specific requirements. Enrollment is limited in both the Registered Nursing Program as well as the Practical Nursing Program. For more information about these requirements, see our Nursing Program or contact the College Admission Office. |
