When someone says “scholarship”, we
immediately think of free money, but a scholarship is more like a
gift that you earn. You earn it by filling out an application and
(in many cases) writing a brief statement. Southern State's scholarship
foundation needs to know who you are and why this money would be
better for you than someone else. What a small price for what could
be a large part of your tuition!
But wait – here’s the best part – you can apply for many of
these scholarships at the same time with the same form. In
many cases, all you have to do is place a checkmark beside each one.
And there are so many scholarship possibilities – a
number of them are listed here (nearly seventy, in fact). These are
local and state-sponsored scholarships, but we have also provided
links to search providers with even more opportunities, so apply
for as many as you can!
