> Northern Panhandle Conservation District Scholarship
The Northern Panhandle Conservation District will be awarding one $1,500 scholarship to an undergraduate student in 2012. To be eligible for this scholarship, a student:
- Must be a U.S. Citizen
- Must be working toward the first Bachelors Degree
- Must be a resident of a Northern Panhandle County (Brooke, Hancock, Marshall, Ohio)
- Must have graduated from a Northern Panhandle High School
- Must have successfully completed 56 credit hours at an acredited college or university
- Must have a cumulative grade point average of 2.8 or higher
- Must be majoring in Agricultural Science, Environmental Science, or a related field
All applications must be received by 4:00 PM, July 6, 2012 at the address given below.
- Please submit a list of three people (with addresses and telephone numbers) who know you well enough to support this application. One of those people must be your college academic advisor.
- Application must be filled out completely and must be accompanied with an official college transcript.
- All selections shall be final. All applications and attachments become the property of the district.
The scholarship winner will be announced and the scholarship awarded by mid August, 2012. The scholarship winner is encouraged to attend the annual recognition dinner in October.
