You are welcome to drop off your payment at any of our four convenient locations. For after-hour drops, there are drop boxes located outside the bookstore (North Campus) or near Student Services at the other locations.

All tuition and fees must be paid in full before a registration is complete. Credit card payments are accepted.

Southern State reserves the right to refuse registration if there is a balance of fees from a previous quarter. Any requests for exceptions to this policy must be submitted to:

Payment Policy

All registered students must make payment or arrangements to pay or have their Financial Aid Application in the Financial Aid office by the deadline date listed in the class schedule. Arrangements to pay include financial aid, an approved third party agreement, or a completed deferred payment plan. ($100.00 deposit required).

Students registering during the late registration period (listed in the class schedule), must make payment, or arrangements to pay at the time of registration. ($100.00 deposit required).

Students whose financial aid application is not dated by the deadline posted below, can not charge their tuition without setting up the Deferred Payment Plan with a $100 deposit. Late FAFSA will not be processed in time for the normal financial aid disbursement to student accounts during the 5th week. FAFSA’s received by the deadline will be given priority for payment.

Students that do not pay, or make arrangements to pay, will be dropped from classes. Once you are dropped from a class, any waitlisted student for that class will automatically take your place. If you choose to re-register you must make payment at that time for any course that is still available.
