MINUTES OF ACADEMIC COUNCIL MEETING
Present: Marsha Snyder, Dora Davison, Jeff Montgomery, Dr. Cronan (presiding)
Also present: Rosemary Poston
The following recommendations were made:
(1) Distribute endangered class list on or before December 9;
(2) Cancel no later than December 20;
(3) Faculty secretaries/campus secretaries should call faculty assigned to cancelled courses;
(4) Faculty Secretaries or Student Services should call students in cancelled sections;
(5) Clean copies of the budget request forms should be sent to coordinators;
(6) A copy of the current equipment requests should be sent to coordinators;
(7) Dora asked that appointment letters be sent to adjunct faculty earlier;
(8) The issue of whether Coordinators or Deans should call specific adjunct faculty to ask about staffing was discussed. It was decided to table this issue until more members of the Academic Council could be present and/or comment on the issue.
