History requirement for degree -  We want students to know history and political science before graduation.  Group proposed that AA and AS student as a part of transfer take one of the following:

Western Civ., Political Science or American History (at least 3 hours).   Ed and Jon will write this up and bring it to faculty senate and if approved there will bring it back to curriculum for approval.

REST 171, REST 173, REST 271, REST 272 – Dawn at meeting to address and discuss problems.  Need to leave 272 and 271 at 3 hours, 173 and 171 need to be 4 hours.  New course real estate math proposed.  If new math course added that will add 5 hours to real estate curriculum.  At this point there was discussion as to whether to add new math course as 2 or 3 hours or add math to another.  Concern was voiced about the number of hours in the real estate program.   Meeting will be set up with Jon, Bill, Dr. Cronan, and Dawn to discuss situation.

PSYC 276 – a class presented at last meeting as new course.   Move to approve Tom, second – Kathy, approved.

Law Enforcement Tech and Law Enforcement /Corrections major.  Discussion was held about the need for a separate degree for corrections by Robin and Tracy because of the corrections major being really different then law enforcement area.  Tracy stated that original the way it was suppose to be set.  Decision was made to submit law enforcement to board of regents as associate degree first and take another look at corrections.   Concern was voiced about the number of tech hours vs number of non-tech hours.
