Background:  Born in Goshen, Indiana and relocated to Ohio in April 2001

Education:  Bachelors in Business Administration, Oakland City University M.Ed. E-Learning Technology and Design - Jones International University

Primary Interests:  Computers (of course!!), gadgets related to   computers, reading, music, being outdoors – weather permitting, spending time with my my new Doberman puppy, Rocky and spending time with family and friends.

Career Experience:  Prior to coming to Southern State work experience included areas such as operations management, materials management, human resource management to name a few.  I started teaching part-time at Southern State Community College in 2001 in the computer science areas.  Interviewed for a full-time position as an instructor in the computer science and office technology areas in the fall of 2003 and was fortunate enough to be hired.  Teaching experience includes Microsoft application and business related software, basic computer related introduction classes and core focus workshops covering topics such as ergonomics, OSHA and ADA to name a few.  Though it may sound like a cliché, I am constantly amazed by how enjoyable and rewarding teaching can be as a career. Having been in business related careers for over 25 years, I thought there wasn’t a better field to be involved in than business and operations management.  I have since found out that I was wrong.  I now truly believe that I have now found the best career for me.
