Biography...

Hi! I’m Kristi. I have been teaching at Southern State Community College for the past fifteen years. I was a student at SSCC, receiving an AAB in Computer Programming in 1987. I received a BA in Management Information Systems in 1993 from Capital University in Columbus, and graduated with a M.Ed.  in Instructional Technology from Virginia Tech in 2003. I have spent the last couple of years developing blogs, social networking sites, online coursework, podcasting, video, and implementing new technologies and Web 2.0 applications into course work.

Many of the courses I teach are geared to multimedia, web development and animation.  If you are interested in developing not only your technology and computer skills, but also using your creative side as well, please see me to discuss what kind of computer careers would fit with your interests.

Many of the courses I teach are done in a hybrid format. That means that part of the time we will be working together either in the classroom or online, and part of the time you will be working on your own in our Blackboard classrooms. To get a better idea of how a class is going to run, please see the information on this site for each particular class. If you have further questions, please contact me.
