This is a book that will allow you to see into the hearts and minds of
single parents, homemakers, widows, and single-pregnant women
living in the Appalachian area of Southern Ohio. These writings will
give you a glimpse of their struggles, trials, and successes.

C. Sue Evans, composer, collected and worked on this collection of
writings since 1989 and compiled them together for her Project Thesis
to complete her Bachelor of Science Degree from Wilberforce University
at the age of 51. Since then, she was selected for inclusion in the
Who’s Who in America, 2003, and Who’s Who in the World, 21st
edition.
Proceeds go to provide scholarships for displaced homemakers;
donations are also accepted and are tax deductible.
