The purpose of Student Government Association (SGA) is to represent the student population on all campuses by pursuing social, political, academic and administrative initiatives of interest to our student body.
Discount Cards for Sale $10 – Get yours today!
The Student Government Association is selling discount cards for only $10. There are three different cards available:
- Central/South Campus Card: Featuring businesses and restaurants residing in Adams, Brown, and Highland Counties
These include Arby’s, Wendy’s, Domino’s Pizza, Holtfield Station, Highland Lanes, Lee’s Famous Recipe Chicken, Dairy Queen, Alley 21, Great Steak and Potato, KFC, Hair Company, Slow & Low BBQ, Ponderosa Steakhouse, SSCC Theatre, and Appalachian Gateway Center Gift Shop
- Fayette Campus Card: Featuring businesses and restaurants residing in Fayette County
These include Subway, KFC, Domino’s Pizza, Wendy’s, Waffle House, Dairy Queen, Amore Pizzeria, Sisters’ Tanning, Donatos Pizza, Our Place, Le’ella Lanes, Werner’s Smokehouse, and Long John Silvers, SSCC Theatre, and Appalachian Gateway Center Gift Shop
- North Campus Card: Featuring businesses and restaurants residing in Clinton County
These include Subway, KFC, Domino’s Pizza, Westside Pizza, Pro Clips, Damon’s Grill, Arby’s, Frostie Drive Inn (Sabina), Papa John’s Pizza, China Buffet, Donatos Pizza, Jen’s Deli, and Wendy’s, SSCC Theatre, and Appalachian Gateway Center Gift Shop
Those interested in purchasing one, two, or all three cards can save at these local businesses and restaurants all year long. Cards expire 12/31/2012. All proceeds will benefit SSCC scholarships.
To purchase a card(s), please contact an SGA member or their advisor, Sherry MacDowell, at ext. 2515 or email smacdowell@sscc.edu. They can also be purchased at any campus directors’ assistants offices: Anna – North, Kris Hilgeman – Fayette, Amanda Lewis – South, or Sherry MacDowell – Central.
Upcoming Event(s):
Spring Fling
May 7 - May 10
During the Spring Fling on all four campuses, the SGA will have booths and games including a Minute to Win It Cookie Challenge (watch video) and a Wheel Barrel Race (watch video). Also, there will be raffles for free discount cards at the SGA booth.
