Medical Assisting Student Organization
The purpose of the Medical Assisting Student Organization (MASO) is to promote Southern State Community College and the professional role of Medical Assisting through community service and education. The organization also serves as a support group for past and present medical assisting students.
Proceeds from organization fundraising efforts are used to support local homeless shelters, local food pantries, the Susan G. Koman Fund and various student needs within the organization.
Become a Member
To become a member, complete the application and return it to Room 180 on Central Campus by August 24 along with a letter of recommendation from a faculty or staff member.

Luci is not only the advisor for MASO but is also the Medical Assisting/Allied Health Lab Supervisor and a full-time Instructor at Southern State.
