COVID-19 Transitional Recovery Plan

As our campuses seek to re-engage in more normal operations, the health and safety of students, faculty, staff, and campus visitors must always be the number one priority. As we have learned, there is not a plan that is risk free. With that in mind, the recovery plan assumes that there will be a level of risk chosen through the implementation of protocols and guidelines but also holds that the choice of the individual is respected and through personal choice, increases or decreases the responsibility of the risk assumed. SSCC respects the privacy of health information, including vaccination status. Therefore, the following recovery plan serves as a guideline for behavior AND continues to fulfill the requirements of infectious disease reporting and protocols.

We cannot assume that there will never be another infectious disease outbreak, causing the resumption of the previous operational plan. Considering this threat, the following has been developed based on recommendations for best practice by the Ohio Department of Health in partnership with our local health department. The recovery plan, its operational guidelines and protocols will be re-evaluated in the case that new emergency orders and additional information become available. The Healthy CONNECT Pledge is available online that will capture the commitment of all students and employees.
