Additional Resources and Information for Wellness Connector Events

Online Wellness Connector Presentation Options

If you are unable to attend a Wellness Connector Presentation, all TriHealth presentations will be available as a PDF with an online quiz link on the last slide. Each quiz will ask a few questions based on the content of the presentation and once submitted, TriHealth will be alerted of the completion and credit will be recorded. Presentation links will be available the week following the scheduled Wellness Connecter presentation. If you have any questions, please contact: Abigail Smith – or Alysha McKeehan –

External Event Participation

The vision of the Southern State Community College Wellness Committee is to become a champion for Southern State Community College employees and their families in achieving healthier lifestyles. Southern State also understands the importance of giving back to your community and raising money for a good cause. We encourage you to get involved with your community and participate in any community sponsored exercise event.

Sample of activities that meet the vision of the committee that would also qualify for external wellness credit include but are not limited to the following: annual dental screening, annual vision screen, taking a class related to health/wellness, participating in community walks/runs (i.e., March of Dimes or walks for heart disease or cancer), attending a local Health and Wellness Fair, attending a Health/Wellness conference, seminar, webinar, meeting with a dietician, nutritionist, joining a weight management group.

To receive credit for this measure you can participate in a community exercise event and have the event organizer fill out the Community Wellness Event Certificate.

Additionally if you had your annual dental or vision exam, provide a note from the physician. Submit the completed certificate or physician’s note to Abigail Smith – or Alysha McKeehan –

Workspace Evaluation

Please contact: Munroe Fannin – OR Kate Honeycutt – to schedule an evaluation of your workspace. Greg Nartker with the BWC will conduct all workspace evaluations; this can be considered participation for attending a wellness event.
