Seeking aesthetic inspiration? Throughout the year, Southern State presents art exhibitions featuring local and global talent. Most of the events also include meet-the-artist receptions.
Area High School Art Showcase
The Area High School Art Showcase gives high school students a chance to display their artwork for the college and community to see. All high school students currently enrolled in Adams, Brown, Clinton, Fayette and Highland counties are eligible to submit up to three works of original work to the annual exhibition and open house.

Ohio Watercolor Society Exhibit
The Ohio Watercolor Society is comprised of some of the best artists from Ohio that work in watercolor. The purpose of the Ohio Watercolor Society is to advance the stature of watercolor and other water soluble media and to foster public appreciation in the area of watermedia.

Area Artist Exhibition & Competition
The Area Artist Exhibition & Competition invites local artists to submit entries in a range of categories including painting, drawing, mixed media, printmaking, photography, sculpture, stained glass, pottery, jewelry, fine–art craft and woodcraft.
