SSCC Student Printer Access

Wanting to Connect to an SSCC student printer using a Windows Operating System? The information below will help you get access.

Step 1

Click the start menu and select "Devices and Printers"

Click "Add a Printer"

Select "Add a Local Printer"

Step 4

Select "Create a new port" and then in the drop down box select "standard TCP/IP Port".

Then select "Next"

Step 5

Type in the IP address of the campus printer you would like to add.

  • Central – 198.30.110.230
  • Brown County – 198.30.32.230
  • North – 198.30.215.230
  • Fayette – 198.30.216.230

Then select "Next"

Step 6

You may get a window that looks like this. If you do not get this window just skip this step. If you do get this window look for HP in the "manufacturer" box and the model of printer in the "printers" box.

  • Central – LaserJet 600m 602
  • Brown County – LaserJet P4015
  • North – LaserJet P4015
  • Fayette – LaserJet 4350n

If you cannot find the printer you are looking for click windows update. Doing this, will update the printers' box with the newest list of printers it can find. Then hit "Next."

Step 7

You should now see your printer in the "Printers and Devices" window.
