Telepresence Devices

The following is a list of the necessary technology requirements and the application needed to operate the device from your location

Technology Requirements

High speed internet connection

  • Broadband internet service with at least 1Mbps up and down (for best results we recommend 3Mbps up and down
  • Wi-Fi – A wireless router or system that supports 802.11 a/g/n.

Hardware Requirements

  • Microsoft Windows 7 or higher
  • Macintosh OSX 10.7 or higher
  • OR
  • iPad or iPhone iOS 8.0 or higher
  • Android 4.0.3 or higher

Peripheral Requirements

  • Mouse or trackpad (wired is recommended)
  • Keyboard (wired is recommended)
  • High quality HD web-cam (for best video, we suggest avoiding the use of built-in cameras)
  • High quality microphone (for best audio, we suggest avoiding the use of built-in microphones)
  • External speakers or headphones (we recommend the use of headphones to eliminate any feedback)
