Personal Information

The Southern State site will only collect personal information which you knowingly and voluntarily provide by (e.g. sending emails, completing application forms, registering for classes, events or other programs or responding to surveys). We may also contact you to provide information about college activities, programs, membership and development opportunities and special events that may interest you.

Southern State will only share information about you to other parties when one or more of the following conditions apply:

Southern State will not release any information other than directory information without a student or former student’s written consent. The Family Education Rights and Privacy Act (FERPA) stipulates that an educational institution may disclose designated student "directory information" without written consent. Directory information is generally not considered harmful or an invasion of privacy if released. Directory information may include, but is not limited to, the following: student’s name, address, telephone, email address, major field of study and photograph. If you do not want Southern State to disclose directory information for you, please notify our Records Office in writing.

Web Accessibility

Southern State is committed to diversity, inclusion and accessibility in everything we do. That is why we are continuously taking steps to improve our site.
