The Southern State Community College eSports team competes in the National Junior College Athletic Association (NJCAA). The team's goal is to provide players the opportunity to express their competitiveness and passion for gaming while working to complete their degrees. To learn more about the team complete the Interest Form.

Eligibility Requirements:

  • Must be a Full-Time, Part-Time, or High School student to participate
  • Experience with esports or gaming
  • Must participate in practice one night per week, and compete in tournaments weekly. Practices will be Tuesday or Thursday at 5pm in our eSports Arena. Tournaments will depend on the league schedule. Students that are on the team will be required to attend practices.

Open practices are:

  • Tuesdays - 5 p.m. HALO
  • Thursdays - 6 p.m. Super Mario Kart

Matches will begin on:

  • Tuesday, Oct. 4 - HALO
  • Thursday, Oct. 6 - Super Mario Kart

Open to ALL students, SSCC Faculty, Staff and Alumni as well as immediate household family members of SSCC Faculty and Staff.
