Now Recruiting for Spring 2022!
The Southern State Community College eSports team will begin competing in the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE) league this coming Spring Semester. The team's goal is to provide players the opportunity to express their competitiveness and passion for gaming while working to complete their degrees and provide scholarships to student athletes. To learn more about the team complete the Interest Form.
Eligibility Requirements:
- Must be a Full-Time degree-seeking student at SSCC
- Experience with esports or gaming
- Must participate in practice one night per week, and compete in tournaments weekly. Practices will be Tuesday or Thursday at 6:30pm to 8:00pm in our eSports Arena. Tournaments will depend on the league schedule. Students that are on the team will be required to attend practices.

eSports Scholarships
Next College Student Athlete (NCSA) is the official recruiting partner of the National Association of Collegiate Esports (NACE), the only institutional association for varsity esports programs in the U.S. NCSA assumes this title from its parent company, Reigning Champs, which established a partnership with NACE in January 2018 when it announced the addition of esports to its BeRecruited platform.
