Nature of Profession

Aviation mechanics repair and perform scheduled maintenance on airplanes and helicopters. They inspect aircraft as required by the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA).

Students must have their 8610 for General and Airframe, or their Airframe FAA License, or the associated credits for General and Airframe to qualify for this certificate.
