Steps to Apply
Step 1 – Complete a New Student Application for Admission
There is no fee or deadline to submit the application for admission. If you are a student in grades 7-12 and interested in College Credit Plus (CCP) please complete the College Credit Plus Application for Admission. If you are a Returning Student who has missed one or more terms, please complete the Application for Returning Students.
Step 2 – Request Transcripts
Contact your high school to request that your final transcript be sent to the Office of Admission.
Step 3 – Complete a Placement Assessment Test
Continue to Placement Assessment.
Step 4 – Schedule an appointment to meet with an Academic Advisor
Meeting with an Academic Advisor is required for your first term of enrollment. Schedule an appointment by completing the online Advising Appointment Request Form, calling 937-393-3431, ext. 2825, or by emailing advising@sscc.edu.
NOTE: Southern State Community College does not participate in the Department of Homeland Security's Student Exchange and Visitor Program (SEVP). As such, the College does not accept non-US resident students for enrollment.

The staff of the Office of Admission is happy to answer any questions you may have. We want to make your transition to Southern State seamless! The office is located on Central Campus and operates from 8:00am to 5:00pm, Monday through Friday.
