Training Calendars
Instructional Technology is more than AV equipment, videotapes, websites, and computers. It is a process that uses instructional tools in conjunction with learning theories to organize, sequence, present, and reinforce information appropriately for particular teaching and learning situations. The Instructional Technology department strives to offer trainings in various modalities to accommodate our instructors. The Professional Development calendar provides dates for face-to-face training, Zoom training, webinars, and self-paced training.
Current Approved Professional Development Opportunities List 2023-2024
The following list provides the Approved Faculty Professional Development Opportunities as recommended by the Faculty Professional Development Committee and approved by the CAO. If the event is not on the approved list, the full-time faculty member requesting funds must complete the Professional Meeting Request form and receive approval prior to the event. If an event is on the approved list, the full-time faculty may request the stipend using the Professional Development Stipend Application form. Please review Section 17.09 of the SSEA Agreement for further information.
