Benefit Premiums
The College shall contribute to the premium cost of group medical insurance for each Employee who elects coverage as follows:
- Medical
Southern State Community College 80%, Employee 20% - Vision
Southern State Community College 100%, Employee 0% - Dental
Southern State Community College 100%, Employee 0%
Current Plan Year and Medical Premium Rates: July 1, 2026 - June 30, 2027
Medical Premiums include Pharmacy Coverage - Anthem Blue Cross Blue Shield

**NOTE** If you use any type of tobacco product (cigarettes, cigars, chew, snuff, vape, etc.) you are subject to a Tobacco Surcharge of $25.00. This surcharge is added to your medical premium at the rate of $12.50 per pay.
